Thank you for applying to participate in TREND Seattle.  The deadline for the application is September 23, 2019​.  Please review these instructions when fillin​g out your application online.

You will only be able to apply for the show with this online application. Application release date -  August 20, 2019.

 

  1. Please read Application Information, Rules and Regulations before filling out application.

  2. Fill out the application completely online.  DO NOT SAY “AS BEFORE.”

  3. All fees on the application will be automatically tabulated and totaled.

  4. Pay in full online via your preferred credit or debit card.  We ​only accept credit or debit cards for all show/booth fees including equipment rentals, dues (if owed), promotional displays, and Seattle Business License.

  5. Advertising contracts must be completed separately. The advertising contract and payment are due NOW​. Click here to complete the ad contract.

  6. To be considered for space assignment, your application must be paid in full. The TREND office does cannot assign space to unpaid applicants.

APPLICATION INFORMATION, SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS


NAME BADGES MUST BE WORN IN THE BUILDING AT ALL TIMES

  • Please pick up your name badge at the Registration Desk on your set-up day. Badges are mandatory for access to the building. If you have someone working with you, please add their name to your show application. Only those with badges will have access to the show floor.

  • Exhibitor Day - All extra badges need to be picked up on Saturday.

  • Buyer Days - Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday - are focused on buyers. All reps requesting help on Buyer Days must understand our focus is on Buyers.

MEMBER STATUS

Non-Members must become a member and pay membership fee after participation in two (2) shows.  Non-Members participating in their third show must "Join Now" and pay the Membership fee to complete the application. Membership perks include a reduced Show Fee, along with ability to participate in our Caravan show.

 

PROCESSING PROCEDURES

  • Payment is due by Monday, September 23, 2019. A late fee of $100 will be charged after Monday, September 23, 2019, except for new exhibitors.

  • All applications must be signed electronically.

  • Fill in ALL lines and classifications on your application.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • On or before September 23, 2019 - full refund.

  • Monday, September 23 through September 26 - The show fee is forfeited. One hundred percent of the booth fees will be refunded.

  • September 27 through the show - No refunds will be provided for cancellations.

 

BOOTH ASSIGNMENT

Booths will be assigned in a rotating fashion and those reps will be included in the show book / supplement.  Rotation will include placement on the second floor for all reps.

 

SHOW HOURS AND POTENTIAL MOVE OUT PENALTY

  • The show runs until 4:00pm, Tuesday. Please keep your booth space show ready until then. No packing or taping please.

  • A penalty of $200 will be assessed for movement of rolling racks (either in or out), taping of boxes and/or bagging items prior to 4:01pm.

  • Please keep the show hours in mind as you schedule your departure time. Early flights will not release you from this policy.

  • All fines must be paid prior to being allowed to show again.

 

EXHIBITOR PARKING

  • TREND Seattle is hosting parking for buyers.

  • Exhibitors must park in the back of the parking lot. Exhibitors in violation will be fined $25 per day. (Except handicap parking)

  • Overnight camping is NOT permitted.

  • Overnight parking is available for $20/day.

 

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

September 23, 2019 - All applications due WITH PAYMENT

September 26, 2019 - Last day to receive full refund for cancellation

October 1, 2019 - Ad Contracts due WITH PAYMENT

​10 days prior to show - Pre-registered buyer list distributed

 

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING

Incoming freight will be accepted at Pier 91 on THREE DAYS ONLY: Friday, Saturday, and Monday via FedEx and UPS only.  Be sure your carrier can guarantee delivery on those dates.

  • Palettes cannot and will not be received. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Outgoing freight must be left in the designated area on the lower level at close of show.

  • ALL OUTGOING FREIGHT MUST HAVE A SHIPPING LABEL INCLUDING APPROXIMATE WEIGHT.

  • RELEASE SIGNATURE REQUIRED.

  • We will donate any boxes left without labels.

 

MOVE IN AND MOVE-OUT

  • Load in/out reservations highly recommended.

  • Show help will be available by appointment for a fee from $30 an hour (minimum $30). TREND Seattle will contact you closer to the show.

  • Hand carts - 30-minute use is FREE with sign out. Additional time rental fee.

  • Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. Strictly enforced per the venue contract.

SHUTTLE INFORMATION

Event shuttles available from desingated hotels. Schedules posted on site and at hotels.

EQUIPMENT RENTALS

  • All equipment must be ordered on your application when submitted.

  • The cost of additional equipment requested at the show increase by 50%.

 

PROMOTIONAL DISPLAYS / HOT SELLER ITEMS

  • TREND Seattle promotional body forms and pedestal displays will be placed by the TREND Seattle staff on the show floor.

  • You or TREND Seattle staff will dress your displays. Any damage or missing displays will be assessed $35.
